GT - I Love Me Spiritually

Nobody’s perfect, as the famous quotation goes. In my own special way I believe the creator of my life has endowed me with great prowess of understanding, love and commitment, that I was able to surpassed almost all trials in life. Without which, maybe I’ll be totally lost in a wrecked ship!

At the age of 12, I remember myself teaching cathechism to children. Perhaps the enthusiasm passed on by my father and my aunts contributed much to this eagerness to be a man for others. Being nurtured in a secluded school as well (an all girls school - I can’t forget the RVM rules!) made me unselfishly offered my time being active at everyday mass, a bible reader, active layman, that extend to our parish (Sr. San Vicente Ferrer) every weekends.

Being a man for others as being inculcated by St. Ignatius of Loyola has deeply rooted in my veins, and up to this point my unending devotion to Our Lady of Perpetual Help, have been my guiding principle in battling life's circumstances.

I feel so lightened whatever force of temptation comes in. It is in my deep faith for my God and Mama Mary that helped me thrive in journeying alone in the land of Arabs.

Daily prayer devotions & The Rosary has helped me feel secure and proud to be a loyal wife to my husband and supportive mother inspite of being away for two years (am very proud of that!).
