Post Workout Cravings

CravingsAre you trying to lose weight and finding it difficult to get away with those munchies? Definitely you are not alone, a lot of people are anxious as to how to fight hunger after a rigorous workout!

Don't put all your efforts down the drain by not dealing with your food seductions.  Get rid of those chocolates and colas  but (I'm not saying they are the ultimate culprit) by following these helpful  tips.

  • Eat consciously, your food intake can do amazing things in your diet. Never, never go to the gym without eating. Foods rich in carbohydrates and fiber are recommended like whole grain and starch.  Eating in portion between each full meal can do wonders in your cravings.
  • Drink a lot of water.  There's a lot of energy loss during workout so you need to regain back that energy by fluid intake.  You may opt to drink oranges and other fruit drinks. A high level of hydration if maintained throughout the day can help divert hunger, so try to sip water during and after workout.
  • Load your stomach with proteins. This will help refuel your muscles. And Fast tracking your food intake is one of the best ways to break food seduction.

  1. Hi Karith .Thanks for the visit at Lain'y Musings and for dropping off a shout.

Great tips over here. I don't go to the gym but I do play badminton to keep myself fit. I really have a hard time trimming down the past couple of months. I think it's also got to do with age, LOL!

Anyways, I keep watch of my diet strictly now and it helps.

Hope to read more tips from you.

    Till then!
